I was looking at a beautiful book on drapery/clothing drawings by Hogarth (1995). Ended up drawing some rough gestures. I really love brush pens.

Hans Bacher (of Disney Production Design, Backgrounds, Art Direction, Mulan, Lion King etc fame) drew this for me when he came down to lecture at NYP. It's a stupid dog (that's what he calls it) from a personal short film he scrapped eventually. Btw that is the nose and not the mouth. Hahaha.

If you're curious the short film was supposed to simply be about three stupid dogs who walk down the streets of a city and talk about nothing. Don't know about you but I would've loved to have seen it.

My friend's lovely boyfriend. Yes, the dog. Handsome border collie, ain't he? He was attracting all the attention from passersby. Almost makes me want to snatch her boyfriend away, but nope, I'm a good guy.

Pity I didn't think to get a shot of Xavier looking at the camera :( There WILL be a next time!

Almost forgot about this. I did this once the YOG holidays came :D I'll always be so excited about holidays, but then once it comes the first thing I have to do usually is just catch up on the z's. I ignore the incredible anticlimax of it all.
