Blend modes in Photoshop are always a good thing to know.
This tutorial talks about a five essential modes you should know (I think some of you already know em, but do you know em like this?)
Given that it took me a lot of time to finally get started on using adjustment layers and masks (thank you matte painting), I figure it wouldn't hurt to know more about these elusive blend modes.
